Yikes, is this even a contest? The Wolverine is an almost great film that single handedly redeemed the solo prospect of Wolverine before Logan even came out.

Venom was fun yes, but operated under a defunct, rote, formulaic, and stale script that read like a pre-disney, pre-MCU Avi Arad produced watered down Marvel movie from the mid 00's. Worse yet, it mirrored Catwoman 2004's basic plotline if you can believe that.... Oh, and the villain had the charisma of a 2x4.

I love me some Tom Hardy, and I really enjoyed his performance in Venom, but the story was utter drivel.

The Wolverine is a great film despite the last 15 minutes.

I personally prefer Venom, although I do like The Wolverine as well. Boiled down to the character I like more.

The Wolverine. Only thing I don't like about it is the final battle. Silver Samurai shouldn't be a big cgi robot.

Wolverine really never grabbed me that much. When they ripped off the alien abortion scene from Prometheus, I was rolling my eyes. Venom feels like just how the character started out, a young comic book geek getting to work on his first story and letting his immature imagination run wild.

Easily Wolverine.

Venom is the worst Spider-Man related movie IMO (and yet I'll likely still watch the sequel at some point).
