Default Marvel MCU Disney+ and Hulu question

What are the chances of these shows getting a home video release?
As someone who doesn't have internet, it's impossible to watch them them.

You don't have internet, but are posting on an internet forum...

You don’t need an internet connection to stream Disney+ series.

Also, why create this thread when your question could’ve been posted in the MCU thread??

Maybe they mean without a constant internet connection? Allowing you to download something while you do have a connection, and then watch it when/if you are somewhere without internet access.

It is poorly worded, though.

I also hope these shows that will tie into the MCU (to the point that watching the shows will be important for things that happen in upcoming movies) get physical releases, at least on Blu-Ray if not 4K disc. I will want to get them all to include in my collection of MCU movies.

I lost hope for a release of Marvel's The Runaways a long time ago.

In my opinion, if the studio choose to not officially release it on disc, or to simply ignore the demands for a physical release, it only opens the door to piracy.

I'm half expecting that with Agents of SHIELD now dealing with the multiverse (
[Show spoiler]due to Deke not vanishing, or whatever
) and the next Doctor Strange literally telling us the multiverse indeed does exist, that they'll try to explain away the lack of connection between tv and films as a multiverse situation where some big things happened in both (New York, Ultron/Sokovia) but after that they were different which is why the Avengers didn't help with the LMDs or the global situation of the Inhumans, and how seemingly AoS didn't have any casualties of of "the snap."

As been mentioned in some of the other threads, since D+ takes place firmly in the MCU film division because of the same actors and it being announced with Phase 4, those MIGHT get them... but I'd be surprised if they do.

So basically, Ghost Rider/Helstrom/Runaways/the rest of Netflix Marvel = none
D+ MCU = 50/50

Beside of Runaways, and the first season of Iron Fist, I never really watched the Marvel TV shows. Problem is, there is too much of them, too many episodes, and so little time! I don't watch any DC TV shows either, for the same reasons.

Of the existing shows, I'm only waiting for the 3rd season of Runaways, and that's it.

The only future series I'm interested in watching is WandaVision (what an awful title!) because of Scarlet Witch it its direct the connection with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness!

That is an interesting idea but I refuse to acknowledge it because I'm stubborn and am desperately clinging to the idea that they are all together and any continuity errors can easily be explained by something I haven't thought of yet.

I hope not I hate when TV shows and comics tie into movies. Just cause these will.be Marvel.shows doesn't mean they will be good.

Because it's too expensive for what is available in south west pennsylvania
Im on a fixed income and subscribing to internet, plus all the different streaming servies is more expensive than just buying a disk or two when i wont watch anything anything.
I rent and am not allowed to have holes drilled into the place.
So, as you can see, a few reasons, actually.

You can download at a library. If your library doesn’t have internet you need to move.

I refuse to believe it’s cheaper for you to not have internet, it’s 2019. 2 4K Disney releases can be around $75 with tax. That’s a year of Disney plus membership. Which you could probably split with someone. You say you’re on a fixed income but seem to want to buy full seasons of TV on blu-ray? Meh.

But yeah, library!

Well, full seasons of TV can be some of the best values if you're looking to maximize runtime per $. And I doubt he is wasting his money on new release 4K versions, so that amount is not realistic.

Internet plus streaming services can easily hit $100 after all the promos expire, non-bundles, etc.. Some cities have mandated low cost internet if you qualify. It's easy to take for granted something you can easily afford that others can't, but who knows if he spends it on cigarettes or drugs etc..different priorities.

But yeah, internet these days is almost like electricity, so depending on your life situation, you are really at a disadvantage if you don't have easy access.

And I kind of feel bad making him view and reply and waste some of that precious 1GB on this.

No drugs, no alcohol and no cigarettes and not stupid vape things
Just food, bills and phone along with a couple of videos.
I frequent the buy/sell threads here for 4k and other things.

Don’t feel the need to justify yourself to people. Your question is a valid one. I’d hope they release on Blu as well. I hate streaming.
