Great news! I like this film a lot.

I sure hope BU plans on releasing Anguish on bd at some point. And I still need to upgrade Living Dead at Manchester Morgue...

This is a very classy British thriller with an outstanding cast. Loved this when it came out. Just watched the DVD a couple months ago figuring this would never get a Blu release.

NOW..Day 1.

Nice. That Susan George cover is so awesome. Much better than the DVD artwork.

I think they should remove the blu-ray and DVD logos on the bottom right though. Looks too cluttered, especially on the 2nd cover. The 'dvd/blu ray combo pack' on the banner should suffice.

Looking forward to this killer snake flick. Now if only SPASMS could get the HD treatment.

I own this on DVD, and remember watching it on British TV when I was living over there in the 80s. I completely agree about the artwork, the image of the appealing Susan George on the cover is almost worth the upgrade in itself.

Since this is a "Collector's Edition" does that mean we will have some extra's? Hopefully they port over the Director's commentary from the DVD.

Never bought anything from Blue Underground. Does it pay to pre-order or wait for a post-release price drop? Does it even make much of a difference?

I hate that cover art BTW. I've enjoyed this movie for years and both pieces of artwork being offered are just trashy and ugly. They don't represent the film well at all. Stunned how many of you seem to like it. The film's iconic poster would have been perfect IMO.

Still, that's no deal breaker. I'm excited to upgrade another DVD from one of the more obscure areas of my collection. I'm grateful for the release.

Definitely going to get this one!

I remember the poster for this being in my local video store for many years! It used to hang in the back of the store along with the matching posters for Squirm, Rabid and Death Ship.
