Shawn White retired from Olympics at age 35

Salute to Shawn White who completed his last Olympic event (Snowboarding Half-pipe final) earlier today. He finished 4th, and, at age 35, is now retired, End of an era - What a legend! He has inspired so many in the sport including Ayumu Hirano (Japan) who took the gold. It was an amazing event to watch live (3:00am ET) and if you have Peacock then you should go and watch it.

Read a nice article on MSN earlier today. I don't follow snowboarding but certainly I've heard of him. Also read a pretty funny article about how he was a bit surprised when he went out on his first date with Nina Dobrev. People recognized her and didn't pay much attention to him and it was pretty amusing.
