Synopsis:

American Gods is the epic story of an inevitable war building between the Old Gods of mythology and our New Gods of technology. So, after the announcement of season 4 being canceled, what are the chances they'll put together a complete boxset in the near future?

Answer: the complete seasons 1-3 BD boxset is not in region 1.

The full series box-set for region one is DVD only.

The individual BD's are still available in R1 for all 3 seasons, but I have only watched season 1 so far.

My question is this: did the show end on a good note at the end of S3, or is the story unfinished since there was a S4 that was canceled?

I also note that IMDB ratings for individual EPs were lower for S2 and S3 compared to S1. Did the show itself become lesser quality after S1?

It ended at a reasonable point, but it did not finish the book. The show creators were supposed to be looking for a platform that would allow them to complete the story, but I've heard nothing since. I remain hopeful, but who knows?

I finished the book a week ago which is awesome. It had a real good Sandman vibe to it.



I also watched the first episode of season one. I really enjoyed the fight with Shadow and Mad Sweeney. The first scene made me realize something that I did not pick up from the book.
