I saw the film at a screening Saturday morning. It was fantastic. Easily Illumination's best film yet. It works because it's fun in its first act and then hits you like a truck near the film's end. Plus it's got a dash of Illumination silliness in there too

Ralph Potts gave this a high score. This website blasted it for 2.5. Kinda up and down so far in terms of reviews.

As all the reviews except for this site have said, it's a nice upgrade from the BD. I even compared it on the same TV (930C) the reviewer here used, and the upgrade in dynamic range is very noticeable indeed, so perhaps something not right with his comparison apparatus.
