I watched the first 2 Episodes this morning. I Like it. The Sci Fi Mystery Feeling is very good, but there are no surprises in the story. It felt complex but is very simple. Chloe is awesome, but on the other end Jack Raynor still can't act.
But the most important thing it is very entertaining, so I will keep watching

Just watched the first episode. Really enjoyed it. Good action. Lots of tension. Interesting story that makes you want to keep watching. Very cute girl Flynne. Opening shot with her in the kitchen was so hard to watch Can’t wait for Ep 2! I’m glad we all see eye to eye

Watched Ep 2 last night. I enjoyed it, but there wasn't as much shock value as the first episode

It went into more detail about exactly what a peripheral is and why she is there. The technology is really cool, too. The cloaking technology, the cavitation-wave weapons which I thought were really cool. My snapping shrimp in my saltwater aquarium uses the same principle when it snaps its claw to stun predators, although the weapons in the show kill. The animated tattoos are really cool too. There was still some good action, especially with the firefight at the beginning. Love how the team is all coordinated by skin implants and a drone flying overhead. Chloe Grace Moretz is awesome. I've never even seen her before, but I imagine she is well known to the younger crowd since she is all over the MTV Awards. I'm interested to see where the

went. Was it some type of global extinction event caused by technology? Looking forward to Episode 3!

You must be joking. Kick-ass 1 and 2, Carrie, Let Me In, Hugo, The Equalizer, Dark Shadows, and Shadow in the Clouds.
I'm liking the show so far but haven't had time to watch the 3rd episode yet. Hope it stays interesting.

Well, the show has 5 stars on Amazon which is pretty rare. I like it so far too.

Really enjoyed Ep 3. Got a little bit of a romance brewing I think. Gives a whole new meaning to two hearts beating as one. It's kind of hard to define at this point but I think it is a bit more intellectual than your typical dystopian sci-fi. Wow, Pickett is a ruthless individual. There may have been a jab at religious extremists there. A lot different than his character as Dolores' father in Westworld that's for sure. Good series. Love Chloe. I want to know where the people went!

She was freaking awesome in Kick Ass so you should definitely check it out.

I was disappointed the sequel was so underwhelming and so there was never a KA3.

Shadow in the Clouds was a surprisingly good movie.
I watched it a couple weeks ago with zero expectations and wow, it was a LOT like the old tv series Amazing Stories.

does the PQ on this looks dreadful to anyone else? Compression is horrid, colors are out of whack (could be DOP intent though). Skin tones are speckled with colors, just really bad.

I believe it's chroma issues, which like you say is due to poor encoding. Easily noticeable on faces because it introduces red blotches.

I really don't know what's going on with streaming quality lately (the worst are Amazon and Netflix) because anything with HDR usually has this chroma issue. I find that with Netflix their 1080p bitrates are so low they look abysmal and the 4k looks so much better, even with the chroma issues. With Amazon it's the opposite, as I often find the 1080p to be better encoded, but then you lose the higher resolution plus HDR.

AppleTV 99% of the time looks excellent though, so it can be done.

Never had this issue years back on Prime/Netflix so they are just being cheap.

It looks fine here, in 4K SDR. I tested the bitrate on Prime with 4K SDR a few weeks back and it was about 15 Mbps. The Peripheral doesn’t look bad at all. The intro sequence is a mess, but that’s obviously on purpose.

ATV+ is about 20 and Netflix is just under 10. Clearly the worst of the major streamers.

not sure how I would set Amazon Prime only to 4K with SDR, on google TV / Shield TV. HDR is automatic. Netflix looks amazing and always does, for me. Prime is the issue.
