Sequel writing already. I guess that confirms other writers will handle the other movies for a team based Batman, etc.

For the sequel, they can always add flashbacks of Clark growing up and learning his powers, Kryton, etc.

He shouldn't write it at all. Gunn is very good at writing certain kinds of films. And what he's best at does not work for Superman. Well at least the Superman I'm interested in

Superman 2025 was for the people who come out of the theater and say "that was fun", give it a A+ cinemascore and forget about the movie forever 2 minutes later

Not saying there's anything wrong with being like that, it's just not what I want in a film.

People were so happy to see recognisable elements of Superman as well as being bright and optimistic they ignored numerous issues with the writing. Similar problems that plagued MOS, I could be wrong but people look back on this film not that fondly. Upcoming film Supergirl is going to be a better film.

I think he'll add another superhero to the story to help the box office. Team Supes up with Batman or Wonder Woman. Maybe even John Stewart.

I think it would be better off it Gunn let someone else write/direct the sequel. Let him focus on something more up his alley like Lobo or a live action Creature Commandos movie.

He said Peacemaker season will hint at his next movie so im guessing The Suicide Squad 2 where Superman helps them.
