Default Your screen size, viewing distance & impression of Blu-ray vs. DVD?

Please only vote if your TV is HDTV and you are using Blu-ray hooked up in a manner that allows for an HD signal (720p/1080i/1080p); I'm not interested in responses from people with SDTV's or Blu-ray playing in 480i/480p

Thanks!

If you don't see a poll...wait for it.

EDIT - to make it quicker to find your choice:

The first 20 options are all No Improvement
Options 21-40 are all Slight Improvement
Options 41-60 are all Substantial Improvement
The last 20 options are all Huge Improvement.

Then you can find your set size and viewing distance.

I have a 50" Sony Rear Projection that I bought about 2 1/2 years ago. I sit about 8-10 feet from the TV, depending on which seat I choose. Obviously, I love blu-ray. The colors pop, the audio is outstanding, and DVD cannot compete with the overall viewing experience provided by blu-ray. Anyone who does not see a difference, does not have their system hooked up properly, has crappy equipment, or is blind.

still no poll, but I have a 73" at 1080i at 15' and a 42" at 1080p at 10'
the 42 is a plasma ( 8th generation ) and goes way beyond the 73 projection ( 1st generation )
the master bedroom setup is way awesome, almost gives another reason to go to bed

We took a pole to the Blu-Ray forum members and you know how painful that can be.

If this includes projectors, 92" at 12 feet. Huge improvement over DVD.

65" at about 10', Blu-ray beats the pants off DVD, not even close.

50" PIONEER/ELITE KURO 1080p
Approximately 6' viewing distance.
No comparison, Blu-ray is noticeably superior to 480i, even when upscaled to 1080p.
