This looks amazing. English subtitles too! I'm still hoping Arrow or Criterion pick them up over here, because I'd love to see some extras or a nice meaty book to accompany them but this is a dream come true regardless.

I think I've never preordered something that quick after finding out. Reading the info and ctrl+t to amazon.co.jp was in the blink of an eye.

I hope they had access to 70mm prints of Kerzhenets for the 2k scan.

I got it, would've never thought to possess a non-Ghibli BD with Master Grade Video Codec.

Chances to have an european device that supports it are still zero, right?

Some discs I get from Japan seem to not be color graded correctly. My guess is some sort of mismatch between P3 or BT2020, or YUV, and BT709. The color space on this blu ray is in YUV. I was able to fix this for the most part in Resolve. Befores and afters:
