This is a massive box office bomb for Warner. Curious if they'll pick up any sales from physical media..

I typically buy all the Marvel and DC movies.

This one just doesn’t really interest me though. Based off the trailer, just seems like the same ol’ superhero movie we have seen 100 times.

It was great, speaking as a mostly Team Marvel guy.

It's stupid goofy fun, if that turns you off then you probably should wait for it to stream free somewhere.

Agreed. Saw it last night and also thought it was great. I thought it had the right balance of seriousness and goofiness. Legitimately laughed at most of the jokes too. Has tons more heart than The Flash did, that's for sure.

Pre-ordering the BB BB Steelbook.

Think I've had enough of stupid goofy fun. This is just same ol' superhero story but with a Hispanic cast. Might get it when it's on sale.

I don't think there's any official indication of that. There's a database entry here, but the UPC for it is the same as the standard 4K release.

The film is kinda of like a mixture between Shazam and Spiderman, with some Iron Man, but like if Jarvis was fully sentient? So, it is a hodgepodge of other superhero movies, but it's Jamie and his family which make it interesting.

Personally thought it worked a bit better than Shazam 1, mainly because after a few watches Levi's performance became kinda grating for me, but also among other things

Who here thinks that we might get the IMAX version of the film on 4KUHD and Blu Ray, similar to some of the other DC films that have IMAX version that were also released on 4KUHD and Blu Ray?

When Warners announced the reboot, they doomed these last several films.

I stopped seeing them in the theater as a result. Home video it was.

If they'd just bit their tongues and finished off the Snyderverse, they'd have made more money. The limited/targeted fanbase of that was probably more than the ever dwindling fan support for these.

I thought this and Aquaman 2 were the last films. Did they decide to refit this one to the new franchise?

Is this a weird one like Green Lantern or Dracula Untold where if it fails it means brushing it under the rug.
