Hi,
I have just brought a LG 42LF66 and seem to be having some image difficalties as there seems to be loads of grain in every movie where as there was none before on my old 32" JVC HD LCD TV, Also when I set ps3 to 1080P/24 the image judders. how do I stop this? |

The grain is probably because your sharpness is set too high. Turn it down to 0. If the image judders when you have 1080p/24 set, turn it off. It shouldn't judder though, as it's meant to prevent that very thing. Is it a 1080p/24 set? If not, that would cause that.
You should get a calibration disc of some sort. If you have any Sony Blu-rays, you could use the calibration easter egg that's on those discs. When you're on the main disc menu type in 7669. There's a thread around here for how to use the patterns, but you can probably google how to use calibration screens and get the same results. |
