So it looks like Europe is getting these versions of the 4K steelbook:

Germany €34.99 (March 21st):



France (Feb 21st):



Italy €29.99 (Feb 21st):



Hopefully the same specs as the US release.

What are the chances of the UK getting this set, and if we do, will it be an expensive Zavvi exclusive?

I've pre-ordered the Italian version for insurance until we find out...

So, the film was licensed out from Sony to [the artist formerly known as] Manga Entertainment, who was then bought out by FUNimation, owned by Sony, who then bought Crunchyroll and merged them into the current Crunchyroll brand. It's a very incestious chain of events, and Sony still retains ownership of the film in some way no matter what. Whether Manga, now CR, still has it is up in the air, so could be anything since they're (unfortunately) just letting CR do their own thing just under their umbrella.

They will use the exact same US disc. Sony typically does one-for-all type releases.

Although I'd definitely want to get this, I'll be waiting for an English region release without a steelbook. Hopefully that'll happen a few months down the line.
