Default The Ring (2002)

I just think it would be neat.

The BD already looks decent (aside from a massive green tint push) so a 4K should look good if it’s coming from the same elements.

I have to say I miss the green tint when watching the sequel. But yeah, maybe it could be toned down in a future release

Personally, I hope it's not.

And I hope to goodness it comes out on UHD soon, before the format runs low on fumes!

I actually always liked that green tint for the film (it fits the pacific northwest and dreary tone of the movie). I am pretty sure this is by design and existed back from the original DVD days, right?

Oh it’s definitely existed in the DVD, but what changed was that the green kinda enveloped everything on the BD, skin tones, hair etc. It’s been a while since I watched it but I think the DVD still had a green push but it was far bluer and wasn’t as severe.
