Just what the title says. My office flooded today, and I had a few months worth of orders in boxes waiting to be taken home. Unfortunately, the plastic on the kino and some of the arrow titles did nothing to keep the water out. Does one have any advice as to how to best lay the slips out to try to salvage them? Thanks.

You need to wrap them in paper towels and then put them in between heavy hardcover books (might need to use plastic food wrap or something to keep the books from getting wet also). Check them after a few minutes to see if the ink is bleeding, if so you'll need to use more plastic wrap over the slipcovers.
You need to start right away as water damage affects paper very quickly. |
