Hopefully has the unique fully extended version from the BD. That's the best way to watch the movie IMO

It's probably a 4k restoration of the 117 minute cut and they will have the other version on there just like Project A. I wonder if they can get the Miramax cut as an extra.

Well, last time they released the Armour of God movies on blu ray, they also started with the second one first. Not sure why but I guess they are going for the same strategy this time too?

they had to wait for Mediumrares rights to expire before they could release the first one.

Could be an available materials thing, too. The 4K restoration of Operation Condor was shown at Cannes last year, but I’m not sure there’s one for Armour of God yet.

But it will come, I’m sure…

Because it's both a lot better and a lot more well known in the west than the first. It also has a massive scale and grand visuals that will shine on 4K.

Well aware of that… these are just Q2 releases. Doesn’t mean the first movie isn’t on the cards.

The previous Blu Rays were released in this order as well (Part 2 then Part 1). Not sure why.

Mediumrare had BD rights to Part 1 for a while, so 88 Films had to wait for the licence to expire.
