The animation looks great. Very well done.

The developer guy said "For those who like to play solo, we support that too." I wonder if he means while always connected online for more microtransactions, you'll be able to play a single player game. If you want your character to punch, please buy the punch ability for $10.

I never got into these Smash Brothers type games but normally love the fighting genre. These games feel more chaotic and all over the place, not really a true fighting game IMO.

At this point the only smash clone that’s inevitably is Disney. I can’t believe smash bros became so popular only just recently that we are only now getting multiple smash bros clones.

The art style and UI looks fugly to me. Just very reminiscent of a crappy mobile game. Not necessarily in-game graphics, those are fine, but the way it looks to be presented and the menus they’ve shown off. Hopefully they change that up before release.

As far as roster goes, it’s okay. It’s WB and a live service, so I’ll probably see characters I care more about later, so it’s fine.

Smash clones have been a thing for years. This isnt a recent phenomenom

Kung Fu Panda
Playstation All-stars
Brawlhawlla
Star Wars (bonus feature in that Wii Lightsaber battles game)

But there are a lot more than that.

There was Battle Stadium D.O.N. which was an anime Smash clone. Not very good either.

All these clones have one thing in common... They're not good games.

These days it's either rip off another game or remake an old game.

The game director did a podcast today & he called Stripe "Stripe/Gizmo" so Im wondering if Gizmo comes out at times via moves or will be a skin.
