65.99 Canadian MSRP? Annoying pricing it as a two part collection when most people don't even want 2000.

Wish I had waited another year to watch this. At least it was only 8 dollars.

Heh, ever since I got it with Columbia Classics Volume 1, I thought it would be amusing and weirdly cool if they packaged it with "prestigious" cinema like Columbia Volume 2. But I kind of doubted they would ever bring it to UHD at all.

Really wish Heavy Metal 2000 was NOT included. I’d rather have the artwork be for the original film only.

Kind of cringe wondering what the cover art will be like.

Would love the technical specs announced, and would be nice to have the original theatrical Stereo audio as an option.

Whoa! The original is one of those movies I saw at just the right age for it to completely blow my mind. Technically I was way too young for it, but I think that’s perfect. The sequel was a disappointment but I’m definitely buying this when it drops.

They could've released Heavy Metal by itself because 2000 was awful. I've forgotten that it exist, and I hope they'll release Heavy Metal in the standard packaging because I despise steelbooks.

Would also prefer separate releases but I'll take it. 2000 isn't great by any stretch but I'm happy their releasing it. I thoroughly enjoyed the PC game at least.

I used to have F.A.K.K.2 and never had a computer that could run it.

(I might still have it...) I had the two disk set.

The first movie has such nostalgia for me. They used to show it on cable (HBO or Showtime) when I was younger and I used to watch it all of the time. My brother and I collected comics - he had the original Heavy Metal comic book. I'm pretty darn happy with the Blu-ray and thankfully it wasn't "cleaned up". I have zero interest in '2000.

Hopefully the 4K of Heavy Metal 2000 can come close to the Superbit DVD. It'll never surpass it though.

I love Heavy Metal. I don't remember much of Heavy Metal 2000 because I only saw it once, many years ago, but as Julie Strain recently passed away, hopefully, it will act as a nice tribute to her.

I will purchase this in one form or another as soon as possible. I don't know that a wide retail SteelBook could do the sexy art justice, but we'll see, I suppose.

This is very exciting. I love Heavy Metal, have owned it on VHS, DVD and BD. Will gladly pick it up in a steelbook edition. Never seen HM2K but it’s basically a bonus feature.
