Watched the first episode. Absolutely ****ing awful stuff. Bland actors doing (very) pale imitations of Ray Winstone (only recognisable as Gal because he has the same haircut as Ray from the movie) & Ben Kingsley (he shouts a lot & is very angry), & every Laaaaandaaaan gangster cliche you can think of.
![]() It feels like one of those terrible DTV Guy Ritchie rip-offs that came out in the wake of Lock Stock in the late 90s. They might as well have called it 'Cockney W*nkers'. ![]() The only vaguely positive things I can say about it are there are some decent actors in the supporting cast (Ralph Brown, Stephen Moyer, Tamsin Grieg - all wasted) & a few decent tunes on the soundtrack. There is no reason for this to exist. Avoid. ![]() |

The casting is so awful.
Cardboard imitations of Kingsley and Winstone. |
