Me too, and I also hope that they'll announce separate releases for the films included in the Volume 1 box set. I'll probably get all of them, but the box is just too big for my room LOL, so that's why I'm waiting for the individual releases

Is anybody truly excited about these expensive - and impractical - sets? I've yet to pick any of these up since I'm only interested in Lawrence of Arabia. Just release these individually. Nobody has the space for big bulky sets anyway.

1) The packaging is really good
2) I love the book included
3) I've never seen movies that are included inside these sets
4) These are classic movies

So yes I'm excited for every Columbia set.

Yeah, keep 'em coming. And keep denying fans of Lawrence of Arabia the opportunity to buy just the film on 4K

I'm looking forward to them yes. They're classic movies being restored by Sony...$20 a pop is not bad at all.
If only one title has appealed to you so far and you're still waiting for the solo release of Lawrence then I can understand the sour grapes though. The space thing is fair enough I sold off the parts I didn't care about.

It takes up less horizontal space than 6 individual cases. And many people have room. But if you don't, just take out the 6 individual cases and ditch the box. Seems like a weird hill to die on when there's so any options. (And to be honest, you could've bought the box and sold the ones you didn't want and made back enough money for it to have been worthwhile.)

Good thing I use a bookcase. For books. Whose shelves have the depth to store collections like Columbia Classics sideways instead of flat. Those big Criterion collections are worse offenders in my book, because they're not only wide, but tall.

"The Remains of the Day" and "Sense and Sensibility" both have 4K masters that have appeared on Blu Ray (though the latter is currently only on the Twilight Time release). "Silverado" was reported to of had a 4K master done a while ago but no disc release yet (only a matter of time imo).

A League of Their Own was also released in Columbia Classics V1. Hasn’t Looper been announced as well?
