I hope this is not the end of VIZIO as we know it. If Walmart is buying them they might switch to just bringing in cheap displays from China like they do with their onn. brand. VIZIO already gave up on OLEDs making the one I have the only generation they ever made.

Here's the thing: Walmart is a company that sells "regular" products for "regular" people. You are not going to find anything particularly fancy at a Walmart store, so I would not be surprised if Walmart significantly downgrades the VIZIO brand. While the OLED was being made, I don't recall ever seeing one at a Walmart store (I bought mine from Best Buy.)

That was what my post said though. I'm poor no Wal-Mart in my store except for an 86in LG is 120hz for example, nor is any TV other then the current stock of Vizios and 1 Hisense model Dolby Vision ready. Thing is TCL, Hisense, Vizio, Onn, LG, Samsung, every single model I can afford is considered by the masses cheapo's and therefor they get stuck in wal-mart and rarely do any of the models go to Amazon,Best Buy,etc. I plan, speaking of which buying the 86in soon its $998 at my Wal-Mart and fits my needs. I'm all about cheap as long as the wal-mart surplus TV's last me the 3+ years they have the last 3 years. ![]() Lastly I'm not so much getting just the 120hz for that, but also its size. QLED tvs for example at 75in are sometimes over 1k, nearly $1,500 and unless your a videophile or what have you, you won't notice the slight difference. My dream is a C2/3 LG OLED but asking me to pay 2 grand for something that will be given a bump the next year is crazy - so I'll stick to wal-mart for one other reason, easy returns. Its 5 minutes from my apartment ![]() |

I will say my current main TV is a TCL - 4 Series 65in. That one I've seen on Amazon. But its nothing special, just gets a lot of $$ i suppose so they stick it on other retailers websites.

Also kind of curious if they'll really cut corners just to coast on the Vizio brand recognition. I realize there are compromises to meet price points, but as someone else mentioned it would be pretty sad if it basically became Onn under the Vizio name.
