To date, THE NAKED RUNNER (1967-Spy Stuff) has only been released on VHS by WARNER HOME VIDEO.

One thing I remember about THE DETECTIVE that 'dates' badly is how quickly it was between when Felix Tesla (Tony Musante) was first arrested and then executed for the murder of Teddy Liekman (James Inman). I guess the death sentence was carried out much quicker in America prior to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling the death penalty was unconstitutional.

In the early 1970s, The U.S. Supreme Court ruled the death penalty was unconstitutional. I think because the Court found it was being applied with a considerable amount of unfairness. → No matter the reason, when the death penalty was found to be constitutional again the length of time between a person being sentenced to death and the sentence being carried out was now much, much longer. Sometimes 25 years or more after the original sentence was delivered.

In THE DETECTIVE, however, Felix gets fastly fried in the electric chair.

I recently scored a brand new and sealed copy of the out-of-print TT release for only $20AU. I don't think the seller was aware of its current value!

Some time ago, managed to get a copy of the German Blu-ray releases of The Detective and Tony Rome. Sometimes there may have been a release of a film that isn't in the database here, but having checked the database I could only find a US Blu-ray release of Lady in Cement (a double feature with Tony Rome), which of course is now out-of-print.
