Definate purchase. Best of the four, by quite a margin.

Each to their own i guess.

Personally, I thought X2 was the best followed by X1, First Class in 3rd with X3 being the weakest.

Loved this. Best of the five (unless we think X-Men Origins: Wolverine doesn't count) in my opinion, I'll definitely be picking this up on Day 1.

I haven't seen this yet. I've enjoyed all the others even Wolverine. The first few scenes of X-Men were fantastic (like The Matrix) the only way was down after that, although the sequels had some great bits in.

I'm not sure were the 'touch the side of your head for mental powers' cliche came from (they didn't do it in Scanners did they?), I guess it's better that sticking a finger up your nose....

Professor X does it in the comics and the original TV show quite often...
It is the best of the lot in my opinion too

You often see magicians do it (especially when they're portrayed on film or television), I guess they copied it from Professor X?

It's pretty close to Mr. Spock in Star Trek when he does a mindmeld but the X-Men predates Star Trek. I wonder if Nimoy was influenced by X?
