I will be getting this to upgrade my BD to 4K and the same as Black Hawk Down plus there out a week apart from each other too.

This should be a new demo disc if handled right. Will go straight into my BB Steelbook. Don’t typically care for military movies but I really liked this one.

There’s not much to talk. The difference will become negligible to non-existant as displays get better.

Apparently, as there’s no BD, am I safe to assume this will be a bare-bones release?

You maybe right but as of now I have full faith in dynamic metadata. You can't slate it because the display doesn't do it properly.

This has to be a 3 disc release or bonus contents ported to either the UHD or BD if there is space left.

Forrest Gump / SPR / Gladiator / Braveheart etc. included the bonus disc. So hoping this one would follow suit as well.

The regular Blu-ray had a Dolby Atmos track so I expect this 4K release to re-use that Dolby Atmos track from the Blu-ray.

I’m having this on day one, this film is superb. Bay really pulled out the stops with this one.
