But we still have an ORIGINAL VERSION on the BD that doesn't have SHOUT.

so what does this mean, that Shout Factory are releasing it in the US? Is Germany still getting a blu ray? I would rather import from Germany than the US as the US release will be region locked and whilst i am region free, i'd rather have a region B disc.

Perhaps not officially then, I think the above post references Shout although I didn't translate it so could be way off.

Is the German release still happening at the end of this month, or have things changed since late last year? Am asking, because I am currently torn between getting Shout's US Blu-ray release, waiting for the German release, or double-dipping getting both releases if they each have exclusive extras.

They found another 35mm with different Material.

Think that's the reason for the delay until April.

Interesting and intriguing update. Different material? Is there an alternative version of Funeral Home or is there cut footage? Just speculating, but at least (if the above is correct) this is an update on the German release.
