Default Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow (1963) v Marriage Italian Style (1964)

Starring Sofia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni, and directed by Vittorio De Sica ... Both were nominated in the best foreign film category at Oscars w/ Today, Yesterday, & Tomorrow winning it!

Which one is your favorite?

Watching these two films feels as if they are an anthology of 4 stories told over 2 films.

Yesterday, Today, & Tomorrow is an anthology of 3 stories - Adelina of Naples, Anna of Milan, & Mara of Rome. Marriage Italian Style can be viewed as the story of Filumena of Naples.

Both films are cut from the same cloth, representing some of the best work of Vittorio De Sica, one of my favorite directors.

Revisited these two films! It is fun to watch Loren and Mastroianni.
