Default Multi-region Picture Quality Question

(apologies if this is in the wrong sub-forum)

I've been contemplating buying a mutli-region blu-ray player (I'm in the UK) because there's a ton of criterions I want to import. A main concern of mine is the picture quality. I have a multi-region DVD player and region 1 dvds always look fuzzy, which I figured may have to do with differences between NTSC and PAL, and the fact I played it on a PAL TV.

I honestly have no idea how this sort of stuff works, if it's down to my TV or if its just how region-a blurays will show up. Is there anything else I should be taking into account as well as this?

Thanks!

Multi-region just means you can play Discs from various Regions, it has nothing to do with PQ. So the best PQ now is an UHD 4K TV, and an UHD 4K Player.

So I don't need to worry about the image quality being reduced as a result of playing a Region A disc on a multi-region UK player and a TV produced for the UK?

No, you don't, and your region 1 dvds shouldn't look "fuzzy" on your UK set-up either.
