The 2005 version doesn't have a prayer of winning here. I think the poll would've been more competitive if the much admired 1933 version (called "Mystery of the Wax Museum") had also been included.

1953. I wouldn't even consider the 2005 a remake really, though it's not a bad slasher if taken on its own.
