Hardware wise: I don't know how anyone with more than two brain cells could have any doubts that the PS3 run circles around the 360 in every respect you wish to name.

I know it's all relative, but again, for what the machine is: I can't believe it costs "only" $500-$600.

That's why when people say it's too expensive, I say "Compared to what?". This thing is a freakin' super-computer. Oh, and it just happens to be a Blu-Ray player and um, yeah, it's the most powerful gaming console on the planet.

It runs around it in circles with the games. But that's to be expected. I don't make comparisons of its online aspect because each console is presenting a different formula for customers. Online gaming is much the same way. I can play Counterstrike free or I can pay to play City of Heroes and have some serious community stuff.

I like my PS3. I will like it more when I have a real remote (as will my wife). And I'm enjoying Resistance when playing it with a friend. But my 360 is getting 90% of the gameplay (cause I have no wii yet!).

40 Player at once lag-free online sounds like the online aint half bad to me and it is free

I could give a rats ass about having a unified friends list. Sometimes I wish I actually had different friends lists for different games to be honest.

This coming from a 360 owner who has live.

The Wii looks neat. But, have you seen the reports of the broken straps? People have smashed their big screens, windows, etc. when the strap let go and the controller went flying.

Hope someone At those other forVmS misreads that and thinks it's the PS3 they're talking about and starts a new fud rumour so I can laugh a little more
