You know I have to agree with you with War and that pathetic game. As for Saw IV I was not impressed with that one either.

I'm picking it up tomorrow but didn't realize it was supposed to have BD-Live features.

I just found this

Also included are a few features that strike me as highly specialized, in terms of viewer interest. We get two "animatics" (which they're defining as moving, CGI storyboards) that look like video game monitors and aren't terribly revealing, and three storyboard comparisons on the car chase, whispercraft crash, and cloning tanks. Again, nothing all that striking. Rounding out the bonus features are previews and exclusive BD-Live downloadable features which you won't be able to access unless you're connected to the Internet and you've got a Profile 2.0 compatible player. "The 6th Day" is enhanced for D-Box Motion Control.

Yeah, I found something similiar searching the news here:

Quote:
In conjunction with the release of this BD-Live upgrade, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release 'Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story' and 'The 6th Day', both of which will feature exclusive BD-Live content to show off the potential of the upgrade. Additionally, films such as Lionsgate's 'War' and 'Saw IV', which were released earlier this year, already have BD-Live features right on the disc.

We will see how BD Live develops. I have read comments from both Penton-Man and PaidGeek and nothing worthwhile has been mentioned. I remember blasting the red ants, because they had an "interactive" feature in Evan Almighty in which they could go to the Universal store and shop (getting rid of unsold merchandise from the movie) for Evan Almighty toilet paper. The idea of downloading subtitles is out the window (from what I have read). So what's left? Downloading trailers, and ads. Anyways, we will see. So far

If I found it for cheap, like $12 to $15. Maybe.

If I can get it cheap I might pick it up. It's not a new release or one of my must-have double dips (I have the film on DVD) so it's not a priority for me. It's an enjoyable enough Arnie film but there is far too much other Blu goodness to enjoy (i.e. spend my money on) before I start investing in 'ok' catalogue stuff.

Just brought The 6th Day, yesterday for £13.00 region B funny action sci-fi with Wiley getting killed for second time with busted neck and his tongue hanging out while Michael Rocker bullsh!ts the police, with tongue and cheek humour, that had me rolling on the floor laughing my ass off. and playing the scene back again a few times.

He’s fine. He’s okay. He’s our associate.
Gibson must have knocked him out.
Knocked himout?
He looks dead to me, doc.
No. Pulse is strong.
He’ll be up and around in no time.
Well get him to the hospital.
Easy.

[Neck creeks and bends as tongue flops out]

LMAO now that is sick just take him back and re-clone him.

Cloning makes my skin crawl.

Bumping this up because it needs a fresh new scan from the OCN, if available, the Blu came out in ‘08. I’ve always enjoyed this one, great cast, very cool effects for the time.

Just upgraded my dvd. I love the movie and the Blu-ray is excellent. Improved the picture with Darbee on my Oppo and the sound with AI on my Yamaha and Gruv had it for $9. The audio upmix actually put overheads walking above when Arnold is swimming with the clones, great! Try it upmixed…who cares what the director envisioned.

A 25th anniversary 4K Blu-ray would be most welcome. I could see 88 films in the UK releasing this, similar to how they released the Van Damme Sony films.
