Default Worst Covers

i know people have already talked about best blu-ray covers, but what are some of the worst ones people have come across, or ones where the movie poster should have been used and weren't?

i'll start off with hancock. because...well it sucks.

So Far it will be ELECTION DVDtimes posted the cover art today and they are opting to use the new badly photoshopped image.

Looks like a bad photoshop job, I wish it was the regular poster. I also don't like the name "Family Fun Edition".

Twister was very similer to the original poster artwork. I did like updating otherwise you get what SONY does to say Flatliners on standard DVD.

WB is usually good with using good looking images

i think i'll go ahead and throw the Terminator 2 + 3 blurays in there. everyone knows what arnold's face looks like. is there nothing else they could add in there? at least the first one has him holding a gun.

I like the 300 cover, but of all the pictures and posters for that film i've seen, i would've imagined they could've done better

I wish they would do a better cover art for all old catalog title's that get a blu-ray transfer, make it better than the original, do something new, different to it at least..

That was also on the latest DVD release and I have always hated it. Whats worse is the "Family Fun Edition" banner is also used for the upcoming Blu release of Jingle All the Way.

I personally can't stand the slip cover for iron man and transformers. I typically throw them away because I don't like them . But I find myself unable to do so becasue it's compltely different from the reg plastic insleave so I have to keep it. Thats all I've come arcoss so far.

i was actually about to say iron man (the 2-disc). kind of cartoonish looking, but maybe that's what they were going for. i think the single disc cover was much better, even though it's only available for dvd

in complete agreement. people were talking about that in another thread. the new cover looks like a video game. maybe it will be a flippable like there will be blood but im betting not.

Transformers and Iron Man. No effort whatsoever put into those.
Transformers would be fine it was the cover that's ALWAYS advertised. You get it and find out it's a lame slip cover.

Same with Iron Man

It has not been released yet, but if it's anything like the DVD I'm going to say the remake for Day of the Dead is going to have the worst cover ever for a Blu-ray...

EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw the cover and they did change it from the DVD version... But it one does get my vote for Most Creepiest...

Jezus, you guys sure complain a lot. I've never heard more complaining in a forum in my entire life. You argue to the ends of the earth about indistinguishable audio encoding and now you debate on ugly cover art. Next thing you know, we'll be discussing the ugliest font used on the backcover on cases, and then which Blu-Ray has the fewest lines in their barcode.

I dont see it as complaining, just expressing an opinion , were not gunna yell at studio's to make us happy with our "cover art prefer's'" and all , not complain about it, some may over audio and picture issues, that's a little different, it's a blu-ray disc, push it limits, dont jus half ass it... but were jus givin opinions on bad cover art, we may not like it, but we deal..and it's all good
