Default New to BR looking for software that will allow me to...

Hi,

I'm about to buy a BR burner and some blank disc. First of all I think that DVD supplies quality good enough and the only reason for buying the BR burner is the storage and saving space.

I have plenty of TV shows on DVD and I would like to back them up and include multiple on BR disc. So after all I pop up the disc to BR player, it will let me choose which dvd to run (let's say there will be Sopranos S1D1, S1D2, S1D3, S1D4) so I would have the whole season just on on BR DISC. after I choose one of them all the menus will be intact and act just like inserting individual dvd disc.

Is this possible? Let me know

Single layered BD-Rs should allow you to put up to 11 hours of DVD quality video.

I'm really glad to hear that. But more specifically, is there a software available that will let me burn few dvd's with menus intact and chosse which dvd to play on startup?

Also, My graphic card is without HDCP support (xfx 7800GTX 490/1300) and I was wondering if it's needed to play dvd content on blu ray disc?

Thanks
