Funny,

I love this movie called Babe (about a pig that wants to be a sheep dog) and when I fist got the DVD I couldn't watch it because the 2 cats were in the way watching right in front of the monitor.

Also,.. in the special features on the original Resident Evil DVD they mention there is high frequency stuff in there just to upset your dogs if you have any.

Perhaps the PQ is so vivid that your cat's keen eyesight is being fooled into thinking your TV set is a window to the real world. You know, like The Ring, but in reverse.

Throw some meow mix in a bowl in the kitchen. That should keep puss'n boots busy for a while as you watch Planet Earth.

if you click on my speakers im my sig you'll see a pic of my setup......every time i look down at the computer it hops up on the table, makes a weird little whine and starts pawing at the screen.

and 10 years ago when i ran my "kitty boot camp" dont ask ..... i would most definitly have had it in front of the tv repeating the scenes that drive it nuts. gotta love pets.

I have 2 cats that will sit in front of the TV mesmerized anytime any nature programming is on in HD. HDTheater had some show about badgers on recently, and they kept slapping the screen and then tried to find a way into the show through the front and back of the TV.

One of my cats loves the birds of paradise in Planet Earth. I have to tell him "no TV touching" when I watch it.
