does anyone have a list of which titles are BD+ ?? im wondering if the new ice age is and how you can tell also

its the protection all the fox titles have been using hence why a lot of them got delayed last year cause fox was waiting for it to be done

Just looked at the Ice Age BD and I don't see a BD + anywhere.

My understanding is that it is, or at least partly, a self-healing copy protection. ie if you hack your player to get around the copy protection, the next time you put a BD+ disc in it will reinstall the copy protection.

Is that right? I could be totally wrong on that, but I believe I read it somewhere, likely on Blu-ray.com.

no, it is an extra encryption systeme that is decrypted while decoding, that can also test the player. So if you hack your player (and it is testing for that hack) then it won't decrypt and the movie can't be properly decoded. It can't change anything, it just tests.
