Default Amir has a new job...

Just received my new issue of Widescreen Review in the mail today.
Tore off the plastic, started thumbing thru and lo and behold: Amir has become a Contributing Editor with his own column!
Needless to say, my opinion of the mag went from laudable to laughable.

Obviously, he wasn't able to get a Letter of Reference from M$.

I assume he'll be leading the way of saying how lossy 640kbs is almost as good as lossless now.. He's been on that bizarre tirade for awhile over on TOS.

What a goofball.

I guess that Widescreen Review is now a "Good Enough!" magazine.

Aside from his arrogance (he loves to talk down to people), he says in 1000 words what most people can say in 100. As long as he affiliated with this magazine I will never read it!

More than confirms my decision to cancel it over a year ago.

In a way, they ended here what I felt was a long, drawn out, and thinly veiled pretense and just made it official anyways.

I now view WSR as something I can use to line the cages down at the local vet's office.

I guess Widescreen Review is going to get lots of columns about downloads.

And how 16 bit audio is "good enough" and all the rest of the rubbish we've harped on.

What's their track record anyways? Haven't they basically backed just about every losing format for the last decade plus anyways?

They will probably start saying that 4:3 is "good enough" instead of widescreen!

Why don't you tell us about what he wrote about and the merits of what he said.

We already know he's despised.

He's a well established pathological liar. What else do you need to know?

Sift through his post history and see for yourself. It really shouldn't take most people much time to figure it out.
