Default Anyone own these?

I need some decent earbuds for my iPhone, I have great pair of Sony earbuds but the cord ripped.

Has anyone used the Bose In-ears?

The Bose headphones have been pretty decent, but you can get the Shure E2c's for the same price. I have those and I love them.

Actually they're on sale. Even better.

I agree with BStecke. The Shure buds are much better....but, I'm anti-Bose..so not really one to ask.

thread over Amazing headphones, literally almost ran into a bus while listenign to them out on the street the first day, completely muffles the sound. Comes with a lot of different headphone "cushions" for the ears. I'm about to buy a new pair as my 4 year ones are getting dated but still sound really good

So, they're "step-in-front-of-a-bus worthy... Excellent.

Holy hell. I don't want somthing going that deep in my ear canal!!

I'm more about SQ than noise cancellation.

The Shures are excellent for sound quality. Shure makes a lot of audio equipment for professional musicians. I know Trent Reznor uses Shure headsets and mics, and he's pretty obsessive over quality. By having the bud go into your ear it ensures a proper seal that is important for bass response. The Bose looks to be of the same type of design. The Shure's actually don't have any sort of noise cancellation feature.

Do you use these with your iPhone? The L-shaped connector on my Sonys wouldn't stay in my iPhone's audio out jack, they kept on falling out and I got mad and ripped the cord. I'll def. look into the Shures.

I don't have the iPhone, but I use the Shure's with my iPod Touch and they work great. Should be about the same.

For most headphones you need an adapter for the headphone jack on the iPhone. You can order one offline or they carry them at the Apple store. For some reason Apple made the headphone jack recessed to the nth degree so not much works with it out of the box.

Here are some of the adapters.

I wish I knew that before I destroyed a pair of 50$ earbuds.
