Default Anyone using a Yamaha YSP-800 soundbar?

I was just curious if anyone was using this system and if they liked it. I'm thinking bout hooking one up to my 37" Philips ambilight set.

Unless you're extremely limited on space, I'd avoid this product and anything like it. Go for a proper surround sound setup, and you'll not be sorry!

this application would be for my bedroom so a true surround system wouldn't work as far as I'm concerned, being that my head would be at the headboard.

My room configuration is weird so I bought the YSP-1100. Best audio purchase I ever made, seriously people are amazed and what 40 well positioned speakers can do. The key is in the setup. You position a small mic in your favorite listening position and then the system will tell you to leave the room...leave the room and grab any small animals you may have and take them with you. A series of high and low tones will go out. The soundbar is basically trying to fell out your room. People who knock this system are foolish and either have not demoed it correctly or are going by Cnet reviews or something else. Set up correctly, with a separately purcased sub, the sound bar will blow you away. Not too sure about the 800 I think that is a smaller model than I have. Good Luck and above all else, buy what sounds good to your ears.
