You know, I just had it last weekend. I bought a new car, and thought, "crap, I could've bought a great vacation." But then I quickly realized, "This car will last way longer, and is way better than 10 days of over-priced hotels, over-inflated airline tickets, and crappy drinks somewhere." I know, call me crazy, right?

I'll get it a bit when I buy a car, because usually it's a car that I've been wanting for some time, and losing that anticipation that becomes a part of my day brings me down a bit. But then I enjoy the car and get over it. I almost always feel somewhat guilty/depressed when I buy something expensive. Which I don't understand, because I never make a purchase that will even potentially leave me without enough money to do what needs to be done, but . . . my brain wasn't wired right to begin with in regards to feeling normal.

Any big ticket item I make sure I research thoroughly first to avoid buyer's remorse. Anything small, I'm not too worried about, because it's within my "at least it's not being burnt" spending limit.
