Denon AVR-788 - Blu-ray Forum

Hello. I have a new system, but am having trouble manually setting it to 7.1. Apparently the factory preset has the rear speakers configured as a separate zone....which is very confusing.
If anyone has one of these systems, could you possibly steer me in the right direction.

Congrats on your new receiver. To change surround back speaker settings:

1. Go to the main menu.
2. select Manual Setup
3. select Option Setup
4. select Amp Assign
5. Then finally select 7.1 for your surround back speakers.
