Default The Batman MPAA rating?

I was inspired to do this from a John Campea poll on the subject. A surprising amount of people said it should be rated R (63% of the vote), so I just wanna know what YOU guys think: what should The Batman be rated?

Personally, I'd say PG-13. I'm all for R ratings for stuff that deserves it (Suicide Squad 2, Joker, Spawn reboot, Venom sequel with Carnage, solo Wolverine, Deadpool, etc.), but Batman just feels like a character who should cater to all audiences to me. His comics are pretty much all PG-13 with the exception of grittier Joker comics (The Killing Joke, A Death in the Family, Death OF the Family, etc.) and elseworld stories (Batman vs. Dracula/Red Blood, Batman vs. Predator, etc.), and he's been able to operate perfectly fine within that rating. TDK was PG-13, and it was incredibly dark and amazing. Oh, and I'm not normally one to wave that "please think of the kids" flag, but I think it applies here: imagine all the kids who won't be able to see their favorite superhero when his material doesn't necessarily necessitate the harsher rating (no pun intended). Joker, I could understand because it's a madness elseworlds tale that wouldn't appeal to them, anyway and to see his full potential, but a straight-up Batman flick is a whole different ballgame.

I mean, I guess I wouldn't mind an R-rated Batman under the right circumstances (the Gotham TV series would definitely be R if it were a movie), but a PG-13 Battinson just feels like the right move to me given his popularity (he's an icon to kids AND adults and one of, if not THE most popular character in all of comics) and source material, and I'm willing to bet that's what we'll get all things considered. I could see an R/Unrated DC on home video/HBO Max based on what we saw in the trailer, but that's about it.

I'm sure it'll be great regardless, this is Matt freakin' Reeves we're talking about.
