Blu-ray Grand Duke

In 2007, we had a hat trick of great but very unique Westerns coming out. Films that took the genre and flipped it on it's head. Some portraying the genre as more of a period piece than a romanticisation of the period, others taking the genre to the modern day, yet keeping the DNA of the genre infused inside the narrative. And all nominated for Awards that Award season!
Most of the films were acclaimed although they are all different and liked by viewers for different reasons, but which one is liked the best? What are these three films anyway...well: No Country for Old Men by Joel and Ethan Coen There Will Be Blood by Paul Thomas Anderson The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford by Andrew Dominik |
