Don't really know much about your model lcd, but, it would appear that it is a few years old?? If your looking for size and that is why you want to get a plasma over an lcd, then I would buy a pioneer kuro or a panasonic viera, samsung is putting a lot more tech into their lcd's at the moment. as far as LCD's i would stay with samsung.

i would say that if your tv is a few years old then yes, it would prolly be worth the upgrade, especially if you want to stay with an lcd, lcd tech is getting better quickly. if your trading up for size and plasma has your size go with pioneer or panasonic#2, they make the best plasmas

Darker colours work best in making the image "pop" or "float" off of the wall.
