Default WARNER Bros is Using AVC encode for PQ

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/1545/lostboys.html

"Warner finally brings 'The Lost Boys' to Blu-ray in a spiffy new 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 encode. I wasn't expecting such a noticeable leap over the standard DVD (which Warner re-issued a few years back to solid reviews), and am quite impressed with how good this remaster looks."

Warner Bros is finally hearing us,Maybe it is wrong i dont know

Tough choice.

Top Gun - one of my favorites, I'm looking forward to its blu-ray release but I've seen the movie a zillion times

Doomsday - like the genre, didn't see it at the theater so I've been patiently waiting for its blu-ray release

Dark City - one of my favorite sci-fi movies and haven't seen it in a while

Sum of all Fears - love the score in this one

Hunt for Red October - love the movie but recently saw/recorded it from Universal HD

The Lost Boys - fun horror movie, I'm looking forward to its blu-ray release but I've seen the movie a zillion times

Hmm, I guess I'll go with Dark City but I almost voted for Top Gun.

Will probably wait until that date to see what I am in the mood to purchase. Most of the titles I will probably get sometime but I do not feel the hurry to get.

Just Dark City for me.

I like the Jack Ryan flicks, but I have seen them too many times to re-buy.

I'm buying at least 5 movies that week, but Lost Boys is at the top of my list.

DARK CITY is the top choice for me and I'll order it on Amazon for
$18.95 currently.

The Jack Ryan films I'll also buy but probably wait for a sale or buy 2 get
1 free deal (sure wish I had capitalized on the old buy ONE get 1 free
deals of the past!!)

I am surprised that more people have not selected Harold and Kumar. I thought H&K were cult favorites. I picked Top Gun. I hope that TG is awesome on BD. I really enjoy this movie.

I picked Top Gun if only to hear the DTS MA track that is on the Blu Ray.

Sitting out most of these since I have no pressing need to see most of them. The only ones I may consider picking up immediately are Dark City, The Lost Boys and Beowulf. The rest are pure BOGO material—I can wait.
