what is the best place to get high quality speaker wire and banana plugs. Im looking to hook up new high quality speakers and want to get the best out of them. If anyone can give specific recomendations i would greatly appreciate it

If you don't want to order from Monoprice, you can go to the local Radio Shack store. They have good Banana Plugs. Also you can find good 14 gauge and 12 gauge speaker wires in the auto department of Walmart (not the electronic section). You don't need any special wires for a subwoofer. Get a good quality wire.

What's your budget? If you're gonna ask these kind of questions, we need to know how much cash we have to work with. What amp and speakers are you using (we might have different ideas as to what constitutes "high quality"!)?

Monoprice is a fave here for the budget concious. If you have more shekels at your disposal, go to a proper dealer and listen to a few, prefereably with the same gear you have, then see if you can get one or two on loan. (Dealers are more likely to let you do this with bigger ticket items.)
