connecting to my BD-50 for optimal results

The wait is almost over. I've located the Panasonic BD-50 and it's in transit to me. After reading a number of threads over the past months, I've concluded that this unit was my best option due to the on-board processing of the advanced codecs and in particular, the 5.1 analog capability. I'd like to tap into the expertise of the forum to determine the best configuration/ set-up of each my components so that I can achieve optimal sound and picture quality.

Here's what the system will look like:

Marantz SR7200 Receiver
Pioneer Plasma PDP - 5040HD
Panasonic BD-50
