Default Shopping Too Much?, you think its a serious problem or just a vanity thing?

i know girls love to shop. not all but the majority of them. some guys i know for sure loves to shop too but not many will admit it. and i don't mean the stereotypical gay guy. but anyways, getting off topic ...yeah, well i saw this
kind of documentary on these two teenage girls who just couldn't stop shopping. even when they knew they were drowning in debt. one girl even actually stole her moms credit card just to go shopping with her friends. she put her parents through so much and now their in debt because of her. then the other girl seriously haves a problem. she was on a date with her boyfriend and was eating so fast just so she could reach the mall in time to...you guessed it "SHOP".
she really had a problem. they both tried to see therapists but in the end quit or didn't even go. do you think you've got the same problem or you're just a regular shopper who just by chance can't ignore the sale sign?

I'm a big "shopper" and not typical guy stuff either.... I like shopping for clothes, etc... .

If my wife says "hey we need curtains for the new house" I AM ALL OVER THAT..... I think I have good taste, and I think I take pride in the actual accomplishment of finding the good deal, good quality, etc... (that was the most recent example!)

Example:

I go to the home depot to pick up a mask for painting/finishing dry-wall etc.... and I end up spending 45 minutes there because I get side-tracked looking at all sorts of other things, thinking about what "projects" I can do!!!!

That's the other thing with me.... I spend a LOT of time shopping... but not so much time actually BUYING.... Shopping, really is an affordable way to pass time... buying is an expensive way!

I don't go into debt though, and I work, my wife works, and we like nice things.... shopping is actually smart..... buying without researching is dumb....

I like to buy things, but I don't like shopping. Usually I know what I want and am in and out of the store in 10 minutes. I don't like waiting for long checkout lines either, so I typically do my shopping as soon as the store opens so I can grab what I need and be out of there quickly.

Same here, I don't like spending lots of time in stores. But I do enjoy buying things.

My wife is a fantastic shopper. It takes her tons of time, and I can't stand being with her shopping, but she gets better deals than anyone. She routinely finds very expensive items for 80-90% off the original price. I have more $5.00 items of clothing in my closet than I can count.

Me too. I don't know why but I HATE shopping. Especially for clothes and shoes and that sort.....I don't like wasting much time there.
