dessicant New Member Member since:Aug 2008	Blu-ray player tech specs I'm looking for some tech info on the blu-ray player: 1. what is the traverse speed of the laser assembly (by that I mean its velocity when the laser is sent to a different track)? 2. it seems the laser lens is extremely close to the disc when actually playing (I think the spec is .004-.012 inches), but it seems to move away from the disc surface during traverses (I assume to protect the lens) - what is this clearance distance during the traverses? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks
