Default Onkyo vs. Yamaha Receiver
Hey guys just wanted to get your opinions on 2 current receivers. The Onkyo 805 vs. Yamaha RX-V1800. Both have newer versions out so they both dropped in price alot. Thing is I just bought the 805 but I'm still in the return period so I'm questioning what I should do. I have always thought Yamaha made better receivers but the 1800 was always out of my price range until now.

Comparable facts about each:
Onkyo has Burr Brown DAC's the Yamaha doesn't
Onkyo is THX Ultra 2 certified the Yamaha isn't

The Yamaha has 1080p upconversion the Onkyo doesn't
The Yamaha has 4 HDMI inputs the Onkyo has 3

Also the Yamaha weighs 37lbs compared to the Onkyo weighing 50lbs.

Both have HD-Audio and I have Klipsch Icon speakers so sound quality is definitely noticable.
