Washington, D.C. (September 26, 2008) -- Warner Bros. is offering Academy Awards screeners an opportunity to see The Dark Knight on Blu-ray high-def disc, an Oscar first.
That's according to an article by The Hollywood Reporter. Normally, studios issue watermarked standard-def DVDs so Academy members can review films prior to making their Oscar nominations. But Warner recently alerted members that a Blu-ray disc of The Dark Knight would be available for their consideration. http://www.tvpredictions.com/warner092608.htm |
