Default The Dark Knight on Play.com

I, like many others on here I would imagine, have pre-ordered The Dark Knight with Play.com at £14.99. I was just having a look on the site and I saw that the price has changed to £15.99, no big deal as prices change all the time I thought. Had a look at my outstanding orders and they had changed mine from £14.99 to £15.99 It was my understanding that if I order something from them they can't charge me any more than the amount at the time I ordered. If they reduce their prices then the pre-order is reduced also but surely they can't increase the price you've already agreed to on your pre-order whenever they feel like it. If they could what's to stop them increasing things to full price just before they charge you? If they had a link to email them I would have complained, but they don't so I cancelled it and ordered in from Amazon instead (it's £14.98 there by the way ).

So I urge anybody that has this pre-ordered with Play.com to check their account to make sure they haven't bumped up the price for them too.

AikonEnt, there is already an Dark Knight thread at the top of the forum. Please include this in the Dark Knight Blu-ray sticky thread. Mods please move this and close this thread.

Well that's sucks!

I just checked mine though and it still says £14.99.

They should at least email to notify you of any change in price before hand.

Or you could all do what I do and that is to wait until it is included in a 2 for 1 or buy 2 get one free type offer a few months down the line. It will be a hell of a lot cheaper then.
